Pancreas

The pancreas is responsible for producing juices called pancreatic enzymes. These enzymes are able to digest all three major kinds of food. It also produces sodium bicarbonate which neutralizes hydrochloric acid in gastric juices, and is essential for regulating the sugar levels in the blood by producing the hormones glycogen and insulin.
