Take time out and let us show you "An Inside View" Ultrasound TechnologyUltrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to produce dynamic images (sonograms) of organs, tissues, and blood flow inside the body. A transducer sends a stream of sound waves into the body. These waves of echoes return back to the transducer as they bounce off internal structures. The sound waves are then converted to electric impulses which are processed to form an image displayed on a computer monitor. Ultrasound is also non-invasive, precise and painless.
